Ramsgate was already a landmark. A seaside institution with decades of local memory attached to it. But heritage alone doesn’t guarantee relevance. The venue needed to honour its past while earning its place in the present – not just for locals, but for visitors discovering the coastline for the first time.
We leaned into what made Ramsgate unmistakable: its history.

Rather than overwrite it, the brand reframed it. Heritage became the organising idea, expressed through a refined identity system that felt both familiar and elevated. Coastal warmth, considered typography and layered storytelling carried the venue’s past into its next chapter, giving the space continuity rather than a reset.

The result wasn’t nostalgia. It was legitimacy.
Ramsgate evolved from a remembered local to a working destination, welcoming regulars while drawing new visitors to the precinct. The repositioning lifted everyday traffic and strengthened its role on the coastline, giving both locals and tourists a reason to stay longer and return more often.
