Not your average butcher, Meat Cellar set out to reimagine the butchery experience – architecturally considered, intentionally modern, and far from the expected. Our challenge: create a brand identity that softens the sharp edges of an age-old craft, reframing paddock-to-plate with warmth, sophistication, and a story worth savouring.
We ditched the clichés and leaned into contrast – raw meets refined. Romancing the journey from paddock to plate, we shaped a narrative that made the craft of butchery feel human again. A hero motif, inspired by stained-glass windows, abstracted roaming paddocks into arches. A traditional French navy palette was softened with unexpected pastels. Identity elements – packaging, collateral, merchandise, and digital – all aligned seamlessly with the architectural vision.
Meat Cellar now cuts through – literally and metaphorically – with clarity and intent. What could have been clinical became conceptual; what once felt confronting now feels considered. A brand that stays true to its roots while elevating the experience, leaving an impression well beyond the counter.
