Aveo’s new brand looked good – but it didn’t yet move.

Across villages, marketing, sales and resident communications, the brand had no practical expression. What launched cohesive risked becoming fragmented in everyday use.

Aveo didn’t need a redesign. It needed a working system – one that could guide decisions, communication and experience across a national portfolio.
We turned the strategy into something people could use.

Working alongside leadership, marketing and operational teams, we expanded the brand into a living brand world – designed for daily application, not just campaigns.

Patterns, colour and tone stopped being aesthetic choices and became decision tools. Teams knew what to say, how to say it and when it mattered. Campaigns, resident communications, collateral and digital touchpoints aligned, allowing the brand to show up consistently whether a resident attended an event, spoke with staff or explored the website.

The brand moved out of the guidelines and into the organisation.
Confidence followed clarity.

Teams began communicating consistently. Villages expressed one brand instead of many interpretations. The brand shifted from a marketing initiative to a shared language across the business.

Externally, Aveo felt warmer, clearer and more recognisable – strengthening trust with residents, families and prospective customers. Internally, it created belief and alignment, turning the brand into a platform for ongoing engagement and growth.

Aveo moved from a completed rebrand to an active one: a brand people could use, not just see.
